We look forward for all to join in celebrating the life of Rich Sunday, August 29th. North side of the pier on the beach at 8th st. A paddle out will follow.

In lieu of Flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Surfing Heritage & Culture Center in Rich Harbour’s name.

We would like to invite our friends on the islands to honor Rich in paddle out which will be held in unison with our Seal Beach paddle out

Starting at 5:30, join us for live music with the Jimboaires plus a special meet and greet and book signing with surf legends including Rich Harbour from 5-7pm. At 7 enjoy a special introduction to The Endless Summer via video from the late Bruce Brown, and a Q & A with Alexander Meci.
Plus, grab a beer from Beachwood Brewing or a glass of wine courtesy of Seal Beach Winery. Then at 7:30 enjoy a special screening of The Endless Summer. At the end of the evening we will be raffling off a brand new 9.10” Cheater 60 as well as lots of other amazing goodies!

Join Rich and friends for a special closing celebration of our Retrospective and a book signing!  The Harbour Chronicles a Life in Surfboard Culture has been reprinted and Rich will be on hand to sign.  

Join us in the back of the shop for a surf flick!  

We'll be kicking off our series with the classic 1978 feature film "BIG WEDNESDAY". John Milius and Dennis Aaberg's coming of age tale about three California surfers in the early 1960's and 70's - loosely based on their own experiences and a short story published in a 1974 issue of Surfer Magazine entitled "No Pants Mance".  Lots of the story line seems to resemble our own story here at Harbour Surfboards so we felt it fitting to screen!  But FYI...there's a scene or two that might not be suitable for young kids (think partying and making out!).  

Bring your beach chairs, and come and enjoy the show!  Friday, August 4th - 8pm
